RETURN TO NIGERIA AS ANTICORRUPTION AMBASADOR, CLERIC ENJOINED HAJJ PILGRIMS. – Rightsmonitors

The head of the Lagos state Dawah Committee and the Ulamahs to 2019 Hajj Pilgrim, Alhaji Abd-Hakeem Lawal, has enjoined all Pilgrims returning to Nigeria to go back and establish the character expected of a true Muslim.

Alhaji Abdul Hakeem made this call while addressing the general Lagos state congregation at Mina at the completion of their Hajj rites.
“As a Muslim, you are expected back home to be of assistance to the development of your state. Haven completed your Hajj rites, you are now like a new born baby, who has no sin. It is therefore haram (forbidden) for you to engage, either directly or indirectly in anything unlawful, otherwise your entire time and resources spent on Hajj will amount to waste”.
Furthermore, he explained “not only you are expected back home as someone of a perfect conduct, you are as well expected to as an anti-corruption ambassador that would assist the government in all ramifications.
