This meeting, Rights Monitors gathered was necessitated by the recent O-to-ge (enough is enough) protest recently held in Lagos to challenge the alleged overbearing influence of Tinubu in Lagos political environment.

The core members of Team Lagos specially selected for the meeting include H.E Vice President, Prof Yemi Oshinbajo; Governor of Lagos, Akinwunmi Ambode; AMCON Chairman, Dr. Muiz Banire (SAN); Hon. Minister of Works, Power and Housing, Tunde Fashola; Deputy chief of staff to the President, Adeola Rahman Ipaye and the governorship candidate for Lagos APC, Mr. Babajide Sanwoolu

Though Rights Monitors is yet to get across to for a direct interview with any member of the secret meeting, information gathered from other sources revealed that beyond the recent allegedly sponsored protest by PDP at Lagos airport hotel which was suppressed by officers of Lagos Police Command, the APC national leader, Bola Tinubu is indeed presently threatened by the reality of the woeful performance of APC in Lagos, during the last presidential election.
Rights Monitors also gathered that although the ethnic ingredient in a rising tension of the “Lagos No Man’s Land” slogan is just a mere coverup ahead the governorship poll, a lot of people and indeed APC faithfuls are genuinely disgruntled about the governance of Lagos.
It is their fear that the idea of a one-man-lord politics where the Chief man in question lacks discretion and openly flaunts imposition is not going to help the party in the long run
