It’s another May 29, Nigerian Democracy Day since 1999. A day to reflect on selfless people and service. A day to remember the service to humanity.

Democracy is about people, it’s about elderly people whose love, supports and prayer keeps us going forward, steadily. It’s about young, creative and analytical Somolites whom we rely on and believe to be conspicuously important to our grassroots governance. It’s about women who work round the clock to feed the children and family.
Today is another day to celebrate your trust and hope in this government, it is the spirit that makes us to be better in each new day.

The Best Local Government Chairman that we got in Abuja, belongs to the people of Bajulaiye, Akoka, Fadeyi and other areas of Somolu in general.
It’s a good thing that our Primary Health Centres are now pride of our community. The promises of our health conscious Governor Akinwunmi Ambode to give a new face and operations to Somolu General Hospital will soon come into reality. The Onafowokan Primary Health Centre will be resurrected to serve the people of Bajulaiye/Fola-Agoro and beyond.
As we embark on the rehabilitation of Akeju, Opeloyeru, Ige, Akinsanya, New Balogun and others, we commend the residents for their cooperation.

In a couple of weeks, pupils of government own schools in Somolu will receive items and infrastructures that will make their schools to be more conducive for learning.
Senior citizens in Somolu will not be shortchanged with their monthly welfare package, we realize the need to expand the quantity. More interesting packages will soon be included.
Somolu Business Community are our partner in success. Be assured that your rates and permits won’t be in vain. Infrastructures and social amenities will spring up in Somolu with continued support from you and our amiable Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.
