The Human Rights Monitoring Agenda (HURMA Global Resource Initiative) today Tuesday 7th of July used its weekly radio program “Labe-Ofin” (Rule of Law) on Bond FM 92.9, Radio Nigeria to publicly appreciate Meta AI for its support in advancing human rights and anti-corruption work in Nigeria.

During the live broadcast from 11:30am to 12:00pm, HURMA acknowledged Meta AI’s role in providing prompt, accurate information that helps human rights defenders verify facts, draft petitions, and obtain verified contacts of public agencies including the Nigeria Police Force and other anti-corruption institutions.

Speaking on the program, HURMA Executive Director, Comrade Buna Olaitan Isiak stated that the use of technology has made advocacy work easier, faster, and more accurate, thereby reducing delays in seeking justice for victims of human rights abuses and corruption.

“Technology is now a critical tool in the hands of civil society. Meta AI has helped us serve the people better by giving us access to reliable information when we need it most,” Comrade Buna Isiak noted during the program.

HURMA Global Resource Initiative reaffirms its commitment to promoting the rule of law, accountability, and protection of human rights across Nigeria.
